Our mission goes beyond these simple words. We put this thought into action through compassionate coaching and consistent support every single day.
As a provider of Supported Community Living (SCL) services to adults with intellectual disabilities, we know that assistance is not one-size-fits-all. We begin by assessing each client’s needs and craft a service plan tailored to develop the confidence and skills needed for independent living. Services range from 24-hour residential care to hourly services and day habilitation options.
We assist clients to grow those independence skills by encouraging clients to explore new situations and opportunities. These scenarios offer a controlled environment for them to utilize what they know and empower them to problem-solve on their own. This reinforces the power of their own successes and creates the feeling of being able to tackle new things.
Available Services
Residential Services
AmeriServe provides up to 24 hour support and supervision in a safe, community based, single-family home. Team members coach individuals on daily living skills, assist with doctor appointments, medication management, community outings and finance management, to gain independence.
Day Habilitation Services
Our program allows you to be present in your community by participating in activities and volunteering. It offers a structured environment to help you discover new experiences, gain social connections, and learn teamwork. Being part of the community is what makes Day Hab a unique experience.
Less Than 24 Hour Services
Less than 24-hour Services includes personal finance management, assistance with meal prep and cooking, medication monitoring and appointment assistance. Team members promote health social skills by offering choices with social gatherings, volunteering and fun recreational activities.
