AmeriServe SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

By opting in to receive or send text messages through the Microsoft Teams SMS Messaging service ("Service"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. Purpose of the Service

The Service is intended to facilitate communication between the organization and its customers, clients, employees, vendors, and other authorized contacts through SMS text messaging using Microsoft Teams.

  1. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile phone number and opting into SMS communications, you consent to receive text messages from the organization through Microsoft Teams. Messages may include:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Service notifications
  • General informational updates
  • Follow-up communications
  • Emergency or time-sensitive notices

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving services from the organization.

After opting out, you may receive a final message confirming your unsubscribe request.

For assistance regarding SMS communications, reply HELP to any text message or contact the organization directly using its published contact information.

AmeriServe respects your privacy. When you opt in to receive SMS messages from us, your mobile number and SMS consent information will be used solely for communication related to our services, appointments, reminders, and organizational updates. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile information to third parties for their marketing use.

  1. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

While reasonable safeguards are used to protect communications, SMS messages are not encrypted and should not be used to transmit highly sensitive information such as passwords, financial account information, Social Security numbers, protected health information, or other confidential data.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The organization is not liable for delayed, undelivered, misdirected, or intercepted messages, nor for any losses or damages arising from the use of the SMS Service.

  1. Changes to These Terms

The organization reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be made available through the organization's website or other appropriate communication channels.
